Bromoil Portfolios

My work is printed in the Bromoil Process. A black and white silver gelatin print is bleached to remove the silver. It is then soaked in water to swell the gelatin. After careful surface drying it is inked with lithograph ink. The lithograph ink replaces the silver in the print. The inking may be done with a brush or roller. Any color or combination of colors can be used. It is at this point that the image can become very unique. Each piece is inked by hand. No two prints are exactly the same color. Markings vary in each print. Editions are limited to five in each size range.
